SmileCraft Dental wants everyone to be able to use our website and to reach us for an appointment, whatever their abilities or the technology they use.
What we are aiming for
We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We are not there yet on every page, and we would rather say so than claim otherwise.
What we have done so far
- Checked text and background colour combinations for sufficient contrast
- Made sure headings follow a logical order and each page has a single main heading
- Given form fields visible labels and clear error messages
- Made buttons and links large enough to tap comfortably on a phone
- Kept the site usable at mobile widths without side-to-side scrolling
- Written descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
Known limitations
We are aware of the following and are working on them:
- Some older images in our library still carry filenames rather than descriptive alternative text
- Our online booking system and embedded map are provided by third parties, and we do not control their accessibility
- Some pages have not yet been reviewed against the full WCAG 2.2 AA checklist
If something doesn’t work for you
Please tell us. We will help you directly and fix the problem where we can. You should never have to struggle with the website to get an appointment.

Accessibility at the clinic
The clinic entrance is step-free, and there is a wheelchair-accessible washroom. If you have a specific access need, please call us on (604) 559-2212 before your visit and we will do what we can to make things easier.
