Before SmileCraft, Dr. Jinny Han spent more than a decade working in other people’s practices. She learned a great deal, and she also formed a clear picture of the clinic she wanted to run — one where nobody feels rushed, and where people leave actually understanding what’s happening in their own mouth.

Taking the time to do things carefully
She likes making things properly. She paints, and she bakes — detailed cakes and macarons, the sort of thing that takes patience. It’s the same instinct she brings to a filling or a crown: take the time, get the details right.
That’s what she wanted SmileCraft to feel like — personal, thoughtful and unhurried. Time to ask questions, a clear explanation of what she’s seeing, and an estimate before anything begins. Oral sedation is available for patients who find dental visits difficult.
She’s a parent of two boys herself, so she knows what it’s like to be the one wondering — whether a child’s teeth are coming in as they should, whether something looks right, whether it’s worth mentioning or not. She would rather you asked early. How a child’s teeth are developing is part of a routine visit, and she will tell you plainly if something is worth keeping an eye on.

What it’s like to be here
Dr. Han designed SmileCraft to feel less like a typical dental office and more like a calm, welcoming space for families. The clinic’s star theme was inspired by her two boys, who dreamed of becoming astronauts and loved looking up at the stars.
You’ll notice those small details throughout the clinic — from the children’s play area to the colours and décor. They are there to help children feel curious and comfortable, while giving adults a space that feels modern, relaxed and personal.
As an independent, owner-operated practice, SmileCraft is intentionally small enough for patients to feel known. You’ll see familiar faces, have time to ask questions and receive clear explanations without feeling rushed.
