Is a Dental Implant Right for You?

An implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone that acts as a replacement tooth root, with a custom crown on top. It may suit you if:

  • You’ve lost a single tooth to decay, injury or infection
  • You have a gap you’d rather not fill with a bridge
  • You want to avoid grinding down healthy neighbouring teeth
  • You have a failing tooth that will need to come out
  • You have enough healthy bone to support an implant — we’ll check this at your consultation

We place single tooth implants. If your case needs something more complex, Dr. Han will tell you and refer you to the right specialist.

What Our Patients Say

★★★★★

What Happens, Step by Step

  1. Free consultation — Dr. Han examines the area, confirms whether it’s a case she can treat here, and talks you through your options, with a clear written cost before anything starts
  2. 3D scan — a detailed scan lets us check the bone and plan your placement precisely. There is a fee for the scan itself, quoted upfront. The planning is included
  3. Placing the implant — a single appointment under local anaesthetic; most people find it easier than they expected
  4. Healing — the implant fuses with the bone over roughly three to six months
  5. Your new tooth — a custom crown is fitted, matched to the shade of your other teeth

Dr. Han coordinates your treatment throughout, and handles many straightforward cases here at the clinic. If yours calls for a specialist, she’ll arrange the referral and stay involved — you won’t be left to organise it yourself.

Why Choose an Implant Over a Bridge or Denture?

  • It stands alone — healthy neighbouring teeth are left untouched
  • It protects your jawbone — the post stimulates bone the way a natural root does, so the bone doesn’t shrink back
  • It doesn’t come out — you brush and floss it like any other tooth
  • You can eat normally — no avoiding certain foods
  • It lasts — with good care, implants often last decades

Cost, Comfort and Common Questions

How much does it cost?
Our introductory price is $3,000 for a single tooth implant. It’s limited to the first 10 patients and ends on 31 August 2026, whichever comes first. That price covers the implant, the abutment and the crown. If your case needs bone grafting or a tooth removed first, that’s quoted separately — Dr. Han will tell you at your free consultation, before you commit to anything.

What if my case is more complex?
Dr. Han places single tooth implants. If your situation calls for something beyond that — multiple implants, a full arch, significant bone loss, or a sinus lift — she’ll tell you at your consultation and refer you to the right specialist. Finding that out costs you nothing, and there’s no pressure to have the work done here.

Does it hurt?
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic, so you shouldn’t feel pain during it. Most people describe the recovery as milder than a tooth extraction, and manage with over-the-counter pain relief.

Does insurance cover it?
Many plans cover part of the cost. We’ll check your coverage and direct bill your insurer where possible.

How long does the whole thing take?
Usually three to six months from placement to final crown, because the implant needs time to fuse with the bone. That healing is what makes an implant last.

How long will it last?
With good brushing, flossing and regular check-ups, implants often last decades.
